No, it must be programmed with a compatible TPMS tool before installation on the vehicle.

Do I need to relearn the sensor after installing it?

Yes. Whenever a sensor is installed or replaced, you need to run the relearn procedure so the module recognizes the new sensor, reads the pressure correctly and the TPMS light turns off on the dashboard.
