FAQs

Does the I-TPMS work without the scanner?

The module can be used integrated with the X-431 scanner or via its own app, expanding usage flexibility.

Do I need to relearn the sensor after installing it?

Yes. Whenever a sensor is installed or replaced, you need to run the relearn procedure so the module recognizes the new sensor, reads the pressure correctly and the TPMS light turns off on the dashboard.

What does a TPMS light on the dashboard mean?

It can indicate incorrect pressure in one of the tires, a sensor with a low battery, a sensor not yet recognized by the module or a communication failure. Diagnosing with TPMS equipment shows which case it is before replacing any part.

Are the combo items shipped together?

The combo is invoiced in a single order. Depending on the size and weight of the equipment, delivery may come in more than one package, but all items are part of the same purchase and can be tracked under the same order.

What is the warranty on FORTA TECH products?
